The Power of Yoga

Emotionally, physically, mentally.

Yoga is such a simple form of flexing your mind and body yet holds such intense powers. Just focusing on Yoga can force your body to push itself so much without much difference in the way you are standing (mountain pose, for example). The slight tweaking of muscles combined with concentrated breathing and concentration come together to form a total body experience. It's so much more powerful than one can imagine without actually trying it for themselves.

Why...

Why is it that life seems to get harder as we age?

Is it because we've already been there, done that? Already experienced those pleasures and need more? Or is it our bodies slowing us down and reminding us how much work everything seems? Or is it just the media?

I ponder.
